SITE ESTABLISHMENT
 Allow for site set-up;
 Allow for traffic management plans, approvals controls and approvals to facilitate works as required.
 Allow for protection of incoming power as required.
 Allow for scaffold access to the front of the subject wall, including geotextile spray protection/controls and certification of [80 m2]
 Allow for temporary toilet rental.
 Disconnect/make safe all services prior to demolition works.
 Dispose of all debris at an appropriate waste management facility.
 Allow for suitable sediment protection in adjacent areas
 Allow for site security fencing.
 Allow for concrete supply, line pump, shotcrete line etc.

 

UNDERPINNING
 Approximate dimensions of the underpinning of approximately 8.0 m.
 Allow to hand-excavate 450 x 450 concrete underpins, including 3 x N16 Bars, 200 mm embedment into the underside of footing and non-shrink grout, 1.5 m deep. [ 9 off]

 

EMBANKMENT STABILISATION
 Approximate dimensions of wall of 6.0 m x 17.0 m. [102 m2]
 Allow for removal of topsoil, vegetation and colluvium, scaling of loose blocks to expose in situ-sandstone bedrock. [50 m2]
 HOLD POINT: Allow for inspection by Geotechnical Engineer.
 Supply and install new HDGAL N25 GEWI rock bolts, 2000 mm each way max, stagger second row, galvanised plates, etc .[17 rock bolts, including approx. 3.0m embedment into sandstone]
 HOLD POINT: Allow for inspection by Geotechnical Engineer.
 Supply and install new 50 mm PVC drainage pipes at 2000 mm centres each way. [10 off]
 Supply and install new Atlantis Vertical strip drainage cells 52 x 260 mm wide cells at 2.0 m centres. [5 x 6 m long]
 Supply and install new SL92 mesh 2 x layers + 2xN16 each way at rock bolt locations (17 off) . [102 m2]
 Supply and install new HDGAL N20-300 starter bars at base of support, including cementicious grout embedment. [56 off]
 Allow to hand excavate 200 mm into toe of the shot –crete wall to socket strip footing into rock. [0.2 x 17.0 m]
 Allow to form and reinforced the toe – strip footing. 6 x N12 bars + N12-200 stirrups. [17. 0 m long]
 HOLD POINT: Allow for inspection by Structural Engineer.
 Supply and spray 40MPA, 175 mm min thick shot-crete wall dyed/ finished to match sandstone finish. [102 m2]

Hornsby - Embankment Stabilisation

 

Scope of Works: Includes the supply of Trades personnel and Materials to carry out the Works:
• Retaining Wall Repairs [approx 100m2]
• Allow for removal of topsoil, vegetation and colluvium, scaling of loose blocks to expose in situ-sandstone bedrock [70m2]
• Supply and install new HDGAL N25 GEWI rock bolts, 2000mm each way, stagger second row, galvanised plates etc [including 3.0m embedment into sandstone]
• Suppy an install new 50mm PVC drainage pipes at 2000mm centres each way [48 off]
• Supply and install new Atlantis Vertical strip drainage cells 52 x 260mm wide cells at 2.0m centres [8 x 8 m long]
• Supply and install new Atlantis strip filter pipe, horizontal, aggiline and associated 10mm aggregate surround. [1 x 14 lineal meters]
• Supply and install ne SL92 mesh 2 x layers + 2xN16 each way at rock bolt locations [40off]. [100m2]
• Supply and install new HDGAL N20-300 starter bars at base of support, including cementiocous grout embedment [45off]
• Allow to form up 500mm concrete curb at driveway edage, including N16-200 bars each way as per standard, 200mm thick
• Allow to dowel N16-400 HGGAL ‘L bars’ into face of existing driveway [36 off]
• Supply and spray 40MPA, 175mm min thick shot-crete wall dyed finish to match sandstone [100m2]
• Demolish existing brick up stand and timber balustrade [14 lineal m]
• Supply and install new powder coated balustrade to BCA requirements [14 lineal m]
• Allow to pressure was surrounding areas
• Allow for post-completion dilapidation survey of driveway
